Hi Vernon,

Please read the following information and click the link at the bottom to confirm you have read and understood what is required of you

You must not discuss or mention How to Get to Heaven From Belfast to the local press or media or disclose any production information especially on and social media.  Doing so WILL result in you being dismissed from the production and legal action may be taken against you for breach of confidentiality. This still applies once How to Get to Heaven From Belfast has aired on TV.

Please find  the attached the directions and information you require for filming on:

Start time (Call Time): 08:00

Estimated Finish time (Wrap Time): 19:30  Please do be prepared to go into overtime should the production require you to.

Rate: £144.50 for 12 hours, if you exceed 12 hours you will be paid £9.35 per 30 minutes over time.

Crowd base is a 6 minute bus from the car park. A shuttle bus will run from 07:45. Please allow enough time to travel from the car park to the crowd base for your call time.

There is no parking available at Crowd Base. If you intend to drive, we advise parking at unit base and using the shuttle bus.

Parking:

Parking is at UNIT BASE on Tully Road. You will take a shuttle bus from there to Crowd Base (where you will get ready for filming).

Role:

Country Western Crowd

Costume Brief:

  • Please bring lots of options of any of the below. The costume department will also have some items, but try your best to bring stuff.
  • Suede jackets/fringed jackets
  • Checked shirts/denim shirts
  • Denim waistcoats/suede waistcoats/denim jackets
  • Jeans / skirts 
  • Cowboy boots
  • Bandanas / big buckle belts / any accessories you think suit
  • Anything at all that you think is country and western style!!

Hair / Make up Brief:

Please arrive with freshly cleaned hair. 

Come with your hair and makeup done for a natural daytime look.

COVID Information & Protocols:

  • Please take every precaution in your personal life to keep yourself safe from Covid-19.
  • Should you or a member of your household become unwell with symptoms of Covid-19 you must contact The Extras Dept or your on set contact immediately, number listed above.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly and regularly.
  • There will be lots of hand sanitizer available on set.  Please use this regularly, it is a good idea to have your own personal bottle also.

What to do on arrival at the location:

  • Park as directed
  • Make your way to the Extras sign in area where you will be checked in by a member of the Assistant Directors team.
  • The Assistant Directors will give you full instructions of what you are to do next and will be on hand throughout the day.

What to do when you are “Wrapped”:

  • Do not leave the location until you have been officially told by a member of the assistant director team that you have finished for the day
  • Please hang your costume (if you have been provided with one) back on it’s rail as instructed by the costume department.
  • If you have been given a prop for the day (E.g. bucket or a broom) you are responsible for looking after after it until the props department asks for it back.  This should happen on set, if it doesn’t, ask one of the Assistant Directors for help and they will organize it for you.
  • Please ensure you report to the a member of the Assistant Director team so they can sign you out.

Admin / Things to remember:

  • Our payment records and now paperless, you will not be asked to sign a payment voucher on the day. You will be checked in and out of the location electronically by one of the Assistant Directors, any additional fees incurred will be added to your payment record upon wrap.
  • You will be emailed the following working day to filming day with a payment record, you will have 48 hours to respond with any queries to this payment. If you do not recieve an email from us, you can also check your payments on your profile. If we do not hear back from you we will process your payment as indicated.
  • Payments can take 6-8 weeks to be issued to you for the work completed.
  • Your payment will be issued upon receipt of payment to us by the production via Paypal using the email address on your profile with The Extras Dept.

Please note that all bookings via The Extras Dept are subject to the annual registration fee of £32.50 for those aged 16 and over. for those aged under 16 the registration fee is £15.   This fee is deducted once a year from your 1st day’s payment.  (E.G. If your 1st days work is on the 2nd April 2024, you will not have another registration fee deducted from your daily fees until after 3rd April 2025).
